Our story
Started in a sugarhouse, still smells like one
Hearth & Pine began in 2019 when we converted a retired maple sugarhouse in Putney, Vermont into a one-kiln, two-loom workshop. We make fewer things than we could and better things than we should, because the point of a home is the evenings you spend in it.
Every candle is poured by hand, every throw comes off a loom older than the two of us combined, and every glaze gets one chance in the fire. If something ever disappoints you, write to the workshop and we will make it right.
